A scarce antique Victorian necklace of rare hand drilled natural baroque shaped Saltwater Pearls strung graduated in size to flatter and elongate the neck beautifully. Of superior roundness and lustre, these rare ivory/creamy hued beauties were so desired and sought after in their day before the advent of the Pearl culturing process and each is its own natural shape as found in the Oyster species Pinctada Radiata. 

It fastens with an exquisite hand engraved barrel shaped 18ct Gold clasp with a separate safety chain, all original. The necklace measures 17 inches in length and the Pearls graduate in size from 1.5 x 2mm to 3 x 4mm.
