Cylindrical glass beads

Glass beads are arranged in 'Chevron' pattern that transitions from blue-green to green, olive, pink, and red. In her latest summer series, Claire Kahn recalls the beautiful array of birds that prevail around her home amongst the picturesque pastureland of Jacona, NM in the Pojoaque Valley. Imagining the Ruby Throated Hummingbird, she scripts its color in a pattern of color and progression, amalgamating her memories into an exquisite, one-of-a-kind work of adornment. When wrapped three times around the wrist, this versatile necklace becomes a beautiful bracelet.
